Waverley Group belongs to the South Eastern Region of the Victorian Branch of the Australian Breastfeeding Assocation (ABA).

The Waverley Group serves mums and bubs across a large area of Melbourne’s south-east suburbs including Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Mulgrave, East Burwood, Vermont South, as well as parts of Dandenong and Rowville.

We come from all walks of life, and have had different life experiences. Some of us are first time parents, others have been there before and know how each child teaches you new skills. One way or another we are all busy mothers coping with motherhood, and we're united in our desire to help mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies.

Join us in Glen Waverley every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, anyone is welcome!

Waverley Group’s new ‘home base’ is the fabulous Bestchance centre. It's a great facility with indoor and outdoor play areas. Come and sit on the verandah in the sun, have a chat and watch the toddlers explore. And there’s also a cafe on site, so you can get real coffee or lunch if you want.

We meet in Playroom 8. Park your car at the front of the site and walk through reception, and you should see our ABA banner. If you can’t find us, just ask the friendly staff. Bestchance is easy to access on the north side of Ferntree Gully Road, between the Monash Freeway and Springvale Road.

When: 10.30 - 12.30 on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month.

And remember, there’s a breastfeeding counsellor present at all our meetings, so bring your questions. We never stick to just discussing the topic of a meeting, we are all mothers with concerns, ideas, joys, frustrations and funny stories.

The Breastfeeding Centre - Dandenong

Get the right advice, at the right time for you and your baby at our new Breastfeeding Centre in Dandenong. The Breastfeeding Centre is staffed by trained Breastfeeding Counsellors ready to answers your questions and help you with breastfeeding.

Drop in any Wednesday between 10.30am and 3.30pm, or phone ahead on any Tuesday or Thursday for an appointment. There is no waiting list and everyone is welcome. You can stay and chat (or just rest!) for several feeds.
